CRISTIANO RONALDO WINS MEN'S BEST PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Cristiano Ronaldo beats Lionel Messi and Antonie Griezman to win the Fifa male best player of the year award.

Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the first player to win the Fifa new Best Men's Player of The Year Award after beating the likes of Lionel Messi and Antonie Griezman to clinch the prestigious award.

Ronaldo had an amazing year 2016 as he ends the year with Fifa Club World Cup trophy.He earned 34.54% of the total votes while Lionel Messi of Barcelona came second with 26.42% of votes and the Athletico Madrid forward Griezman finished third with 7.53% of total votes..

Ronaldo said 2016 is his best year so far, the trophy for Portugal was amazing." i was so happy and of course i cannot forget the champions League and the club world cup"
