DASUKI TO EARN 15M NAIRA IN DETENTION

The continual arrest and detention of former Security adviser Col. Sambo Dasuki (Rtd) on fraud charges since December 2015 have been declared unlawful by the ECOWAS community court of justice.

Dasuki who served under the administration of former president Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was accused of fraud in sum of $68m in spending and $2.1 billion in arms deal, have been under custody without fair trial of which Ecowas community court of justice declared today as unlawful and an arbitrary violation of human fundamental rights..

The court also orders Federal Government to pay Col Dasuki who faces multiple count charge the sum of 15 million naira compensation fee for improper invading and seizing of his properties..
