An embarrassing news of a police officer who killed a motorist "Okada man" somewhere in Benue State because of 50 naira bribe..

It was gathered that a police man shot a motorcyclist which is popularly know as Okada rider, some where along Aliade-Awajir Road, Benue state.The police officer was in an argument with a bike man over alleged 50 naira bribe when a fellow okada rider known as Friday (deceased) arrived at the scene to make peace. The police officer reportedly got angry, pulled out his gun and shot Friday (deceased) point blank on his forehead and he died at the spot.
The youths of the community have threatened to burn down the police station in which the police officer is attached, as a result of the incident. Benue state police command spokes person said, they are yet to receive reports on the incident..
