NEWS: SARAKI MARKET ON FIRE

Goods worth millions of naira destroyed  as saraki market ,Ilorin, engulfed in huge flames.

Saraki market Ita Ama in Ilorin west local government of kwara state was engulfed in fire early hours of the day burning through afternoon on Wednesday October 5th 2016.

It was gathered that over 60 shops were destroyed with valuables worth millions of naira..The spokesman of Kwara state Fire Service said the fire outbreak could have been as a result of power surge from the restoration of electricity..He also said that the fire was put out with help of fire service and concerned residents.

According to Vanguard, Traders who were affected are saddened over the lost of their properties calling on government for assistance...
