INDEPENDENCE DAY: Nigeria celebrates 56th independence day..

Nigeria celebrates 56th independence day  as a country which gained independence from Britain in 1960 and first became a federal republic when a new constitution was adopted  in 1963 "October 1st" by the then president "Nnamdi Azikiwe"and since then have become a great nation with great people from different ethnic group and culture..

In the course of celebrating the 56th birthday of this great nation, the federal government also declared 3rd of October as public holiday as the date of the independence falls on Saturday being a weekend, it was moved to Monday which is 3rd of October..
Happy birthday to the great nation Nigeria, let us strive harder to promote peace and harmony and also sees the reverting of this country from her current economic state..God bless Nigeria...
