NYSC TO REPEAT MORE THAN 40 BATCH B 2015 CORP MEMBERS

More than 40 NYSC Corp members are set to repeat their service year as a result of absconding from place of primary assignment and also breaking of rules and regulations of the body..

Its the passing out parade of Batch B stream 1 2015 National Youth Service Corp members held across the federation.

As others rejoice with their discharge certificates in their hands, some are been asked to repeat their service year..It was gathered that, 8 corp members who were deployed to the state are set to repeat their service year in Kaduna..

Kaduna state NYSC coordinator Mr Momoh Mohammed said on Thursday 6th of October 2015, that 15 of 2,837 corp members had their service year extended due to violating the rules and regulations of the body while 8 others are to repeat the whole service year all over again as they absconded immediately after the orientation camp..

 While in Niger state, the Nysc coordinator Mrs Loto Bolade said that 24 corp members who were deployed to the state are to repeat their service year as 10 corp members received commendation letters for initiating projects that impacted on the lives of people.

It was a mixed feelings in Sokoto state as the the state coordinator Mr Thomas Yamma announced the on Thursday the death of 5 corp members out of the 2,112 deployed to the state..During the passing out parade of batch B stream 1 2015 corp members, mr Yamma also said the death of the 5 members were as a result of natural causes..He also added that 11 corp members are to repeat their service year for absconding from their place of primary assignment (PPA)..
