Two men were given a jungle justice for stealing a handset in Mararaba area in Abuja
Two men were burnt to death via what is popularly known as 'Jungle Justice' for stealing a handset in Mararaba Abuja.
The suspected phone snatchers tried to flee after snatching a phone via motorcycle 'popularly known as okada', unfortunately for both of them,they were caught and set ablaze.
According to Daily Trust, one of the suspects snatched the handset from an unidentified man along Abacha Road.
As he took to his heels, the residents around the area chased him.He suddenly jumped on a waiting motorcycle in an attempt to escape,he was caught with the motorcycle rider before they could escape..
They were immediately set ablaze. The police only arrived at the scene to convey their charred bodies.
However, some of the witnesses claimed that the motorcycle rider may not have been an accomplice but one who was waiting to pick passengers while others think he was part of the deal..
According to the younger bother who claim anonymity, said the motorcyclist was a victim of circumstances as he had never engaged in any criminal act before..
